Prayer Book Society (NSW) Conference - January 2026
About
The Prayer Book Society (NSW) is looking to gather a group of interested clergy and lay people for fellowship, encouragement, and discussion around applying gospel-driven Anglican principles to ministry in general and our church gatherings in particular. Our keynote speaker will be the Right Reverend Dr Greg Anderson, Bishop of the Northern Territory. Other speakers include the Reverend Dr David Peterson (former Lecturer, Moore College, and former Principal of Oak Theological College, London), the Reverend Mike Dicker (Principal, Youthworks College), Dr Jack Stephens (Director of Music, St Paul's College; Artistic Director, Sydney Cantata Project), and Mrs Brianna Morrison (Director of Music, Bridge Church - Rozelle; freelance professional Soprano). Presentations will cover a range of topics, including: principles of Anglican worship and church practice, and their application; the role and use of Scripture in the gathering; theologically forming young people; and classical and contemporary music in liturgical practice. There will be plenty of time for conversation, Q&A, and enjoying fellowship. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. The day will conclude with Choral Evensong at 6 pm at St Paul's College at the University of Sydney, with Bishop Michael Stead as the preacher.Date
