Saint Ignatius' College Basketball Holiday Camp 2025

Nathan Strempel has been part of the Riverview Basketball Coaching Staff for the past 8 years including 5 seasons as part of the 1st V coaching staff. Alongside working at Riverview he has also worked in professional basketball as a TV Commentator for the NBL, WNBL and International Games featuring the Australian Boomers and Opals. He has also been an MC for game days with the Sydney Kings, Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne United as well as other basketball events such as the FIBA World Cup and the NBA Hoops Exchange.

Nathan is excited to coordinate a Riverview Basketball camp this holidays having previously run holiday camps with Melbourne United and NBA Legend Dirk Nowitzki. He will be joined by other experienced Riverview Basketball coaches. The camp is open to Riverview Students of all ages and abilities from experienced rep players to those trying basketball for the first time. Students will be grouped according to age and ability with every effort made to keep friends together. The camp will cover all areas of the game with an aim to help students come away a little bit better than they started, whether their goal is to play in the 1st V one day or just compete at lunch time in the school yard.
