PROGRAMME: SAMFORD ROUND: 90 arrows @ 40m on a (80cm face)FACE SIZE: Full face per target or 6 ring 80cm – one face per archer.
DIVISIONS: Male Recurve / Male Compound/ Female Recurve / Female Compound / Barebow Recurve Male / Barebow Recurve Female
DATE: Saturday, 7th February, 2026
ENTRY FEE: $30.00 per archer competing + Admin Fee – includes lunch
LOCATION: Northern Beaches Campus (Cromer High School), South Creek Road (Inman Reserve), DEE WHY. Parking on Inman Road
COMMENCES: Registration commences at 8:15am. Equipment Inspection at 8:30am with shooting commencing at 8:45am.
AWARDS: Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in each division where applicable.
CLOTHING: Club or State Polo Shirts.
ALLOCATIONS: Archers are requested to register on arrival and produce their Archery Australia registration card and/or proof that they are a registered member of competing club (Receipt).
GENERAL: A canteen will operate through the day.
ONLINE SCORING: Online Scoring using iscored.today - Electronic devices in front of the shooting line for scoring only (i.e. no photos / social media or communications). Please ensure all phones are charged.
TEAMS EVENT:
* Perpetual Trophy award for both a Recurve and Compound Teams (Team of 4 archers). Teams can be made up of Male / Female and will be taken on the highest scores from those competitors shooting on the day, no need to pre-register.
* Perpetual Trophy for winning ladies’ team of 4 competitors (maximum of two compounds). Note: Archers must be registered to the Society through the one club
MATCH PLAY KNOCKOUT: At the conclusion of the Tournament, all archers regardless of sex will be invited to take part in a Match Play Knockout. Archers will then shoot three arrows from which the lowest score is eliminated. In the event of a tie, those archers concerned will be allowed a one arrow shoot-off whereby the closest to the centre will advance to the next round, until there is only one competitor left. Spectators are most welcome.
CLOSING DATE: 24th January 2026
Space will be limited, therefore entries will be taken on a first received basis. Only those entries registered online will be accepted, no email entries and/or phone entries will be accepted. Members should ensure that if they are newly registered as a member of Archery Australia to allow enough time for their name to show up in Archers Diary.
