Nobody's Fool
Written by Richard Gordon & Ted Willis
Myrtle Banbury, the queen of the romantic novel, is back.
You may remember, from 2024’s production Nobody’s Perfect, Myrtle is in fact Leonard Loftis a divorced man, living with his head strong, but loving daughter Dee Dee and his scheming rascally father Gus. This time Leonard is faced with the problem of explaining the whereabouts of Myrtle as an investigative journalist TV presenter arrives to interview the famous author. With webcam, ear pieces and speakers, the family sets up an ill-fated three-way telephone call from Aunt Myrtle, who is supposedly somewhere up the Amazon.
To add to the confusion the novelist's former wife arrives, having never met her ex-husband's talented Aunt Myrtle - the ensuing chaos is fun for all!
