About
Join us for a presentation on the Department’s recently published report Journeys towards harm: Gambling and gambling harm among young online sports bettors, from childhood to early adulthood.Based on in-depth interviews with 50 Victorians aged between 18 and 25 years who have experienced harm from sports betting, the study explores the nature and progression of gambling harm in young people, sources of influence, and strategies to disrupt harm journeys.
The report’s lead author, Professor Nerilee Hing from CQUniversity, will take us through the report findings.
