About

Rohan Goyne will lead a new walking tour to learn about the history of Canberra’s first multi storey office building. Built in the late 1950s, the MLC Tower was seen as the epitome of progress at the time, and considered revolutionary for the lightweight construction system that used prefabricated sections that could be dry connected in a modular system, allowing the building to be quickly and economically erected.

Adults $15; accompanying children free

Heritage Festival event organised by the National Trust (ACT) and Rohan Goyne
