Thursday 8th January 2026 9.30am-4.00pm Seascapes and Skies in Acrylics with Robyn Lowry, $80/$100, 18+ years, ,all levels. Maximum 8 places

This workshop gives comprehensive information on understanding all the facets of acrylics. The application for the paintings of seascapes and skies will be done in lovely loose expressive marks of the impressionistic style. Both brush and pallet knife will be used to produce these paintings.
There will be lots of demonstrations and displays of impressionists paintings.Expect to have a fun and busy day.
What to bring:
Paints -
Acrylic professional quality paints-
Colours suggested: Cadmium yellow deep, Cadmium yellow light,
Cobalt blue hue, Cerulean blue hue, Cadmium red light, Cadmium red medium and Titanium white
Brushes -
Two flat brushes (Westart 18mm and Westart number 4 or a small and a large flat brush equivalent to these) Two pallet knives, small and medium.
Grounds -
Canvas A3 pad or prepared painting paper. No smaller than A3. At least 4 sheets required. If separate sheets, please bring something to lean them on. Any other grounds A3 or larger is ok.
Other materials required - old towel, apron, wet wipes, spray bottle of water, and a jar of water to wash your brushes in.
Your lunch, if not purchasing from tearooms. Lunch break is only 30 minutes
Saturday 10th January 2026 9.00am-11.30am, Painting Using texture With Sue Sharp $25/$35, 16+ yrs, All Levels, Maximum 8 places.

Using texture in painting can create different moods and stories. Learn how to apply acrylic paint over different surfaces such as sand, hessian, gauze and moulding paste on your canvas to make a feature in your painting.
Painting without brushes can also create texture. We will use palette knives, cardboard, sponges, and even our fingers to add another dimension to our painting.
All materials provided.
Saturday 10th January 2026, 1.00pm-4.00pm, Pretty and Practical Pots using Alcohol Inks with Pam Bailey, $45/$55, 18+ years, All Levels, Maximum 15 places.

Discover the vibrant world of alcohol inks. This workshop is perfect for beginners
First you will play with the inks to create your own original pieces of art using a few techniques for different effects. This will build your confidence in your newfound skills, ready to start work on your ceramic pot.
Give yourself the precious gift of time out from your busy life and enjoy creating. You will be surprised and delighted at the results of your own original art works.
All materials are supplied, just bring your happy face!
Please Note: This workshop is not suitable for anyone with respiratory conditions or pregnant people (the inks have a strong smell).
Inks stain fabric and fingers, so don’t wear your best clothes.

Do you love Stained Glass? Always wanted to try leadlighting? Come and “Bee Creative” with expert glass artist, Eileen MacPherson. You do not need to bring a thing, just your enthusiasm to learn something new with the skills that you already have. Create two pieces of beautiful glass work based on natures wonders, the bumblebee.
All Materials provided. Please wear closed in shoes.
Sunday 11th January 2026, 10.00am-12.30pm, Drawing For Fun #1 with Helen Lock, $25/$35, All Ages (children under 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult), Beginners/Intermediate. Maximum 10 places.

Come and have some drawing fun with Helen Lock! Helen will guide you through this workshop with fun activities designed to develop creativity, art skills and boost well-being in a social, supportive environment. You will enjoy six different drawing games, including, Simon Says - Draw!, A Mystery Grid and A Wonky Banana. If you are curious about these activities, come along and have fun.

Monday 12th January 2026, 9.30am-3.30pm, From Fluff To Fabulous: Learn to Paint Using Wool with Audra Guy, $75/$90, 18 yrs +, All Levels. Maximum 7 places.

Join Audra from “Sheep to Shore” for a relaxing and creative session where you will “paint” with wool. Learn needle felting techniques as you craft a unique wool-wrapped soap and a charming small artwork to take home. No experience needed, just curiosity and a love of handmade things.
All materials provided.
