The Tasmanian leg of The Ramblin Roses' album launch. Support by Jonny Marchand from Iluka Manor.The Ramblin Roses band is a collection of some of Melbourne and Hobart's finest musicians. Luke Plumb and Jim Green formed the band many years ago to explore the music of The Grateful Dead. Their original songs are cut from the same cloth. Along with Ronny Ferella, Steve Temple and Dave McNamara, these songs were recorded at MONA's Frying Pan studios in 2024.
The long-awaited Tasmanian launch of the Ramblin Roses' first album will be at the Fern Tree Community Centre on December 12. A Victorian launch tour will happen in March 2026.
