Led by an expert guide, journey through the traditions, practices, challenges and achievements that have shaped Jewish life over millennia. Discover Collection items and their myriads of hidden stories. From the roots of the Jewish people to the diversity of Jewish life in Australia today, connect with global and local narratives through historical objects and artworks.
Includes a guided visit to the historic St Kilda Synagogue.
The Permanent Galleries Guided Tour is one of four rotating weekly programs that occur every Friday morning. Explore the Jewish day of rest, known as Shabbat, experience a behind-the-scenes look into the Museum with our curators or delight in children’s storytime with PJ Library.
