CANCELLED Grace Petrie has had to cancel her Australian and New Zealand Tour owing to the death of her father.
Grace has posted the following message:
I’m beyond heartbroken to say that my funny, kind, generous, intelligent and infinitely lovely dad Bob passed away last week after a short time in hospital. Despite the health struggles that had plagued him the last couple of years, it still was and still is an earth shattering shock for me and my family that we were in no way prepared for. I can’t really find words for any of this, so I will just say that imagining the world without him feels impossible, ridiculous, all wrong.
My tour of Australia and New Zealand which was scheduled for a couple of weeks’ time, for obvious reasons, cannot go ahead. I know that the lovely folks who were planning to see me in Australia and Aotearoa will understand that performing for me is a lot deeper than putting on a show. I got my love of music from my dad and I believe, as he did, that what we all create together in the room is an authentic connection. I always try to give audiences nothing less than my best, and I’m in no shape to give that right now.
I have always had a special love for Australia and Aotearoa, and the wonderful folks there who have supported me and held me up for years. Thank you for your understanding while I navigate these difficult days.

At this stage it is planned to re-schedule the tour next year. We have advised all ticket holders and will be in touch with them when the agent has advised further regarding refunds.

Trinity Sessions is a fully reserved seating concert style venue where the focus is on the music and respect for the artists and the audience, with bar facilities pre-show and interval. The bar is not open during the performances. Trinity Sessions sells a range of beer, wine, cider, soft drinks and small snacks. No BYO drinks allowed and no BYO food allowed into the concert space.
