Join the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in
Albany for a transformative journey where your original music
takes centre stage. As part of Albany’s Bicentennial celebrations,
this course offers a rare opportunity to collaborate with
professional artists, refine your craft, and perform your own
song in a world-class venue.
What’s Included:
3-day songwriting intensive with WAAPA song-writing expert
Carus Thompson, 8-10th April (Easter school holidays).
Yours songs will be rehearsed by the WAAPA Albany Diploma
bands, giving YOUR song premium treatment!
3 days of rehearsal and workshopping with WAAPA lecturers
Vinnie CREA and Matt ALLEN leading to a Showcase Concert
on Sunday 7 June 2026.
