The Picture of Dorian Gray
About
One of Oscar Wilde's most famous novels, here adapted for stage by RAPA ensemble actor/writer Jazz Toland, The Picture of Dorian Gray is about a young, beautiful man who wishes for a painted portrait of himself to age instead of him, so that he can pursue a life of endless pleasure without consequences. The portrait magically takes on all the sins and physical decay of his life, while he remains perpetually youthful. The story explores themes of vanity, the corruption of morality through hedonism, the relationship between art and life, and the consequences of one's actions.Dates
