In January 2025, Australian bluesmen Frank Sultana, Dan Sullivan and Nathan Beretta, with Clarksdale Mississippi veteran rhythm section Lee Williams (drums) and Heather Crosse (bass) recorded at the famed Sun Studio.The result is the debut album - ‘Introducing Vintage Sounds In Modern Blues, by the band called Brothers’
In 2023, Frank Sultana became just the third artist outside of North America to win the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge in the events 42 year history and in doing so wrote his name into Australian blues history. He is a 7 time Sydney Blues Society Awards winner, APRA award nominee, and internationally acclaimed artist.
Dan Sullivan has lead his band Tomcat Playground for a decade and is regarded as one of the best blues harp players in the country. In 2025 he took out the Sydney Blues Society Award for favourite harmonica player and the Beretta Sullivan album ‘ The Loft Sessions’ took out album of the year.
Nathan Beretta spent several years as the guitarist for the award winning band Blue Eyes Cry, before venturing out on his solo career. Both his solo albums went to #1 on the Australian blues roots airplay charts and the Beretta Sullivan album took out album of the year in 2025.
Supporting the boys will be Phil Coyne and The Wayward Aces — a band delivering harp-driven, arse-kicking, original Australian blues. Their sound fuses the raw intensity of Chicago blues with the infectious rhythms of rockabilly swing and the edgy drive of garage surf, creating music that’s rootsy, rockin’, and made for the stage.
