About
We are delighted to bring our standard mental health first aid training to our community. Facilitated by Continuum Experience - trained and licensed by Mental Health First Aid Australia to teach this practical course. This course will teach you how to provide initial support to others who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.This course is accredited for 3 years, so just like First Aid accreditation, you're officially accredited as a Mental Health First Aider.
****PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE RUNS FOR TWO SATURDAYS DURING MARCH AND TO BE ACCREDITED YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS - ALSO NOTE WE WILL NOW BE CHARGING $25 WHICH IS REFUNDABLE ON ACCREDITATION DUE TO NO SHOWS AT OUR RECENT COURSES****
