Back to the Future in Sydney - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (SOLD OUT)
Marty McFly and Dr Emmett Brown return, and expressions of interest are called for if you'd like to join Cocky Guides for the audio-described performance of Back to the Future in Sydney on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
SYDNEY, IT’S TIME TO CHANGE MUSICAL THEATRE HISTORY.
BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical is now playing at the Sydney Lyric. Take an electrifying ride back in time with London’s Olivier Award-winning best new musical, adapted for the stage by the creators of the original movie trilogy.
Starring Tony Award-winner Roger Bart, who originated the iconic role of Doc Brown on the West End and Broadway, and rising star Axel Duffy as Marty McFly. They lead an outstanding cast including Ashleigh Rubenach as Lorraine Baines, Ethan Jones as George McFly, and Javon King as Goldie Wilson.
Welcome to Hill Valley! When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past and send himself… back to the future.
Don’t miss out on this limited run season, and join Cocky Guides on a support event to the Sydney Lyric when the Doc realises that he finally invented something that works!
This event will depart from Central Train Station at 11.30 a.m., before a light lunch at your own expense. Support will return to Central Train Station at 6.30 pm, after the performance, with some time to socialise with the group. Pricing will depend on the level of support provided and the cost of tickets. An indicative price for 1 in 3 support is $316, plus our non-refundable personal contribution of $85 to confirm your spot. Spaces are limited.
