ABOUT
Returning in 2026, the iconic Huff ‘N Puff Foot Race is back again to challenge competitors racing against an historic steam engine. The Huff ‘N Puff Run will offer two run options with a 6.7km run from Buxton Station to Thirlmere Station, and a 3.5km family fun run from Couridjah Station to Thirlmere Station. The Huff ‘N Puff Run will take place on the morning of Sunday 24 May.

Offering a unique run experience, the Huff N' Puff will offer competitors and spectators an exclusive Steam Train ride from Thirlmere station to Couridjah Station for the Family Fun Run & Buxton station for the competitive Race where competitors will disembark to commence their return race against the Steam Train.

Huff N' Puff Experience:
- Museum entry to the NSW Rail Museum in Thirlmere
- Steam Train Ride to Buxton Station
- Race Entry (Race Bib & Timing Chip)
- Medal and Certificate 
- 6.7km Race from Buxton Station to Thirlmere Station

The standing Huff N Puff record is currently 20.49 minutes
The average Huff N Puff race time is 35 minutes

- 1st Place Male & Female : $250  / 2nd Place Male & Female $150
- 1st Place Junior Male & Female $100 each
