Sydney Acting Studio welcomes internationally acclaimed acting coach Christine McClure for a 4-week Method Acting Masterclass.With over 30 years of experience coaching professional actors across film and television, Christine has worked with performers alongside Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, Nicole Kidman, and Robin Williams, and under directors including Steven Soderbergh, Sofia Coppola, and Christopher Nolan.
Christine is also a faculty member at the world-renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, bringing the legacy of one of the most influential acting institutions directly into the room.
Drawing on the Stanislavski–Strasberg method her work includes improvisation, motivating emotion and behaviour, affective memory, script analysis and character development; guiding actors in building a repertoire of roles for a career. Actors study preparations for on screen acting—preparing alone without rehearsals, creating a subtext in visual behaviour, and a line of truth when shooting out of sequence—plus techniques for drama, comedy, auditions.
A published author (Drama for Teen Actors) and respected on-set coach, Christine brings a deep, practical understanding of the craft — guiding actors toward authentic, emotionally alive screen performances.
