About
We are delighted to bring the first Youth mental health first aid training to our community. Facilitated by Continuum Experience - trained and licensed by Mental Health First Aid Australia to teach this practical course. This course will teach Youth Mental Health First Aid to adults — grandparents, family members, friends, colleagues, and community members — so they can go from worrying about youth mental health to confidently providing effective support and have the peace of mind knowing they're offering the best support possible. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.This course is accredited for 3 years, so just like First Aid accreditation, you're officially accredited as a Mental Health First Aider.
****PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE RUNS FOR TWO SUNDAYS DURING JULY AND TO BE ACCREDITED YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS - ALSO NOTE WE WILL NOW BE CHARGING $25 WHICH IS REFUNDABLE ON ACCREDITATION DUE TO NO SHOWS AT OUR RECENT COURSES****
