



Nagambie Bush Nippers Lifesaving Education Program
Supported by Strathbogie Shire Council and funded under the State of Victoria through Emergency Recovery Victoria Recovery Hub Program in response to the October 2022 Floods, Life Saving Victoria is offering the community a modified Lifesaving Education Program over the peak holiday period at Lake Nagambie.
Lifesaving Education is an iconic program for many Victorians which teaches participants aged 5 - 14 years lifesaving skills whilst extending swimming and water safety competencies.
Registrations are open to Strathbogie Shire residents only and are $10 per participant, so ensure you book in and don't miss out! Lunch will be provided by Strathbogie Shire Council at the conclusion of the program on Friday, so please stay and enjoy!
Please click the 'Book Now' button to secure your place in the 3-day program. This information will be used to register your child be a community club member of Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) for insurance purposes.
Please complete forms by Wednesday 31st December, otherwise your place may be given to a person on a waitlist. The program is capped at 40 participants each session time!
Participant Prerequisites:
- Be 5 - 14 years of age at the time of the program
- Meet minimum swim proficiencies / if not contact Life Saving Victoria (click here for information)
- Have a parent / guardian on the beach at all times throughout the program
