Balam Balam Lunchtime Singing Sessionswith singing leader Emily Hayes and Michael Santhanam-Martin
Our aim is to create a new fun, inclusive, relaxed singing group for all people aged 0-101. We will share the joy of group and harmony singing in a low pressure, inclusive, and friendly environment.
Term one will be 9 weeks starting 5th February. Thursdays 1-1.45pm at Balam Balam Place.
Everything will be taught by ear, no auditions and there are price points for all people. Waged $20, Concession $10, pay what you can $? and children free.
Leaders: Emily Hayes, an experienced voice teacher and community choir leader. She leads the Brunswick Rogues Choir, Heidelberg's Warringal Singers, background in teaching Intergenerational singing playgroups and local primary school choirs.
Co-facilitator: Michael Santhanam-Martin has been singing in community choirs in Queensland and Victoria for 25 years and continues to be increasingly inspired by music's power to connect us to each other and to the world".
