With the generosity of the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, we are pleased to advise that entries are open for the 2026 Bayside Charity Golf Day at Royal Melbourne to be held on Monday 18 May 2026. As you no doubt aware Royal Melbourne has just hosted 2025 Australian Open.
Our 2026 event offers some unique opportunities for all golfers. This year we are offering three 18 hole events, a 27 hole event playing all the Australian open holes as well as a nine hole event
There are two West Course shot gun events one starting at 7:30am and another 12:30pm. These are Stableford competitions, and the cost is $450 per player which includes breakfast and lunch in the Royal Melbourne Golf Club Dining Room for morning players, and lunch and post-game snacks for afternoon players. Lunch is at 11:30am for afternoon players and 12:30pm for those playing in the morning.
Play all the Australian Open holes by playing the West Course shot gun start at 7:30am which includes breakfast and lunch in the Royal Melbourne Golf Club Dining Room followed by 9 holes on East with a rolling start from 1:30pm $700 per player. (West course has 12 Australian Open Holes West 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,10,11,12,17,18 and East 6 Australian Open Holes East 1,2,3,4,17,18)
On the East Course we offer a 18 hole Stableford competition with a rolling start with tee off times between 7:30am and 9:30am playing 9 holes twice. Registration is $350 per player. Refreshments are available for purchase in the club house. Advice of tee off times will be notified in mid-April 2026.

The day is open to all golfers, including those who do not have an official GolfLink handicap. For those players a handicap limit of 18 will apply on the day.
In addition to being able to play at Royal Melbourne, one of the top ten Golf courses in the world (http://www.royalmelbourne.com.au) we also offer Quality prizes to successful players in each competition and for the Nearest the Pin, and Longest Drive competitions.
The best lady player on the West Course with an official Golf Australia handicap, will be awarded the Lesley Falloon Perpetual Trophy.
The PM players on the West Course, will compete for The Bayside Mayoral Trophy team competition for the best aggregate stableford score.
Places are limited. Bookings are in groups of four.
If the event is cancelled or postponed players will be offered a refund or an opportunity to roll over their booking, should an alternative date be arranged.
