Summer on the Trails - Wellness WalksThese walks have been developed with 18–25-year-olds in mind, however if you fall out of this age bracket please register your interest and we can see what we can offer you!
Ever wanted to join a run club, but didn’t want to do the running part? Come join us on our Wellness Walk Series. Three guided walks on Yarra Ranges beautiful trails. A chance to connect, get active, and enjoy the sunshine Saturday mornings this summer.
The group walks will be on the last Saturday of the month January, February and March at the following locations:
Saturday the 31st of January 9.30am - Lilydale Lake (meet at the toilet block)
Saturday the 28th of February 9.30am - Mt Evelyn (meet at Trail Café)
Saturday the 28th of March 9.30am - Belgrave (meet at the library)
The intention of these walks is to provide a space where young people can meet others in their community, enjoy the outdoors and experience the mental health benefits of walking. These walks will be relaxing and slow paced. The Yarra Valley, Lilydale to Warburton and Belgrave Rail Trails have some mild hills but otherwise are flat trails, making these walks accessible to all users and fitness levels.
We encourage you to bring a friend or come solo, there are prizes to be won, people to meet and steps to be taken so register your interest and join us this Summer on the Trails!
