🦘 Kanyana Keepers: Mammals | A Half-Day Wildlife Experience for Kids aged 7–10.Get ready for an exciting, hands-on morning with some of Perth’s most adorable and unique native mammals! In this 3.5-hour experience (8:30am–12pm), kids will:
🐨 Meet Our Mammal Ambassadors, which may include:
- Possums
- Bilbies
- Echidnas
- Woylies
- Wallabies
…and more!
They’ll discover amazing mammal behaviours, explore their special adaptations, and learn how these furry friends survive in the wild.

- Learn how we care for mammals at Kanyana
- See incredible mammal biofacts like fur, quills, skulls and more
- Create mammal-inspired crafts to take home
- And observe natural mammal behaviours up-close!
🧢 What to Bring:
- Morning tea

- Water bottle
- Enclosed shoes (required for safety)
Safety & Supervision:
The program is fully supervised by trained Kanyana staff and Program Leaders, each holding a Working With Children Check and First Aid certification. This is a drop-off program — parents do not need to stay onsite.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in so the adventure can begin on time!
