Welcome to the Transition Program for 2026
The Transition Program has been designed to provide a follow on year for both Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) after they successfully complete their graduate year.
Our aim is to provide our second year graduates with a supportive learning environment to professionally grow from the novice level of health practitioner, to the advanced beginner as per Benner’s Stages of Clinical Competence (1984).
Workshops include –
- Vascular Access
- Professional Growth
- Acute & Complex Patient
- Detangling Diabetes
- Neuro/Stroke - open to all staff
- Paediatric Care - open to all staff
