Pain is a universal human experience, but how do we recognize it when words fail? This important webinar will explore the profound impact of chronic and acute pain on people living with dementia. We will explore compassionate, evidence-based methods for identifying and responding to "the invisible hurt," ensuring dignity and comfort are at the center of your care plan.By the end of this session, participants should be able to:
• understand compassionate and evidence-based methods for identifying pain
• recognise ways to respond to “the invisible hurt”
• ensure dignity and comfort are at the centre of all care plans.
