EFT in Action: Empathic Attunement
The AIEFT is excited to be hosting ‘Emotion Focused Therapy in Action’, run by Barry Strmelj. These workshops are suitable for practitioners with a background in EFT training (at least EFT Level 1) and who utilise, or are looking to incorporate EFT into their work with clients.
Empathic attunement: A Practical Guide to Being Present and Attuning to Clients When Working in an EFT way
Empathic attunement to affect is a cornerstone of working in an EFT way and can be viewed as a way of being with and opening ourselves to our clients’ inner world. In this workshop we will focus on the steps we can take to help cultivate our capacity for empathic attunement and we will look at how to communicate empathic attunement to clients to facilitate their presence and emotional engagement.
*Each workshop is designed to be attended independently; there are no requirement to attend all of them.
