About
Little John is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/harmonica player John Dickson. Returning to the stage after more than a decade away from live performance, Little John’s comeback is a big one: in 2011, Put Your Hands On Me landed to critical acclaim and has since earned a reputation as one of Melbourne’s standout records of the past 20 years. Now fronting a new six-piece, Dickson picks up with a new album, Yours Sincerely, due for release in 2026.
Supporting them is the jingle-jangle pub-pop 3-piece, Billy Peril. Unintentionally evoking the Go-Betweens & Comet Gain, and intentionally on the bourbons, they bring a set of pared back, nifty tunes in preparation of their first full length release in 2026 (same day as John, probs).
5pm start, $15. Standing room only.
