January Holiday Sewing Classes - Kids, Tweens + Teens
About
Welcome to our January Holiday Sewing Program! All classes are designed for beginner sewists, and no prior experience is needed. Each session is small, creative and relaxed, with a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure plenty of individual support.Class Types & Ages
- Junior Hand-Sewing Classes (Ages 5-7)
Gentle, creative sessions using soft Merino felt.
- Tween Machine-Sewing Classes (Ages 8-12)
Beginner-friendly machine projects introducing basic machine skills.
- Teen Machine-Sewing Classes (Ages 13+)
Modern, useful projects designed with teens in mind.
Class Duration & Pricing
All class types follow the same pricing structure:
1.5 hour class - $60
2 hour class - $80
3 hour class - $120
What’s Included
- All fabrics, patterns, threads and embellishments
- Use of sewing machines and tools (each student has their own machine)
- A specially-curated sewing kit to use during class and then take home
- Step-by-step guidance from Jane (a qualified teacher and experienced sewing business owner) in a supportive environment
- Finished project to take home
What to Bring
-A drink bottle
-Closed-in shoes
-Optional: a small snack
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Families are welcome to settle their child in for the first few minutes. Please ensure prompt pick-up at the end of the class.
Supervision & Safety
Your child will be fully supervised by Jane - a qualified and registered teacher - throughout the session. We follow safe sewing-machine and hand-sewing practices for all age groups.
Location
We have secured a special studio space at Graceville to run our January Holiday Sewing Program - location, parking and entry instructions will be provided prior to your child’s session.
Booking Notes
- Each session has strictly limited spaces (max 6)
- Book early to secure your preferred class and time
- If your child has specific learning needs, please let us know in the booking form so we can best support them
Cancellation & Changes
Due to very small class sizes, bookings are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your booking to another session (if available). We will always work with you to ensure that a convenient make-up session is found. Please email us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
