Glenella has collaborated with the Chamber Music Festival to open it's rooms for the 2026 Anzac long weekend. Centrally located in Blackheath, this grand heritage house offers comfortable bedrooms and spacious living areas.

Glenella was originally built in 1905 and expanded to operate as a guesthouse in 1919. It's charm includes lead glass windows, ornate ceilings and bullnosed verndah. The furnishings create a relaxed and comfortable house with all the modern facilities.

It's an easy 5-6min walk to the Phillips Hall where the Chamber Music Festival events are being held.

GLENELLA FACILITIES

Glenella offers 15 bedrooms which range from heritage style rooms with ensuites to traditional guesthouse rooms with shared bathroom faciliites. These rooms are spread over 2 levels. Regardless of which room you book, you have full access to all Glenella's facilities which include a giant self-catering kitchen, 3 living spaces, a dining area for 30, wood fireplace .... plus more.

DETAILS

This is a 3 night package - Friday + Saturday + Sunday nights. There is no discount for staying only 2 nights.

Check-in 3pm Friday 24 April 2026 . Check-out 11am Monday 27th April 2026.

ROOMS

Glenella has 15 bedrooms - a mix of queens, singles, twins and one family room. The 7 heritage bedrooms on the main floor all have ensuites. On the lower floor the family room has an ensuite and the 7 traditional guesthouse bedrooms share bathroom facilities down the hall. See floor plans below.

All beds are supplied with electric blankets, sheets, doonas and pillows. The bed linen is provided by a hotel linen service so are of professional quality. Extra blankets are supplied in each room. Each room has a heater which can be individually controlled.

SELF-CATERING

Glenella is self-catering offering a very large commericaly style kitchen which is well stocked with 3 fridges, 2 microwaves, 2 ovens, 2 toasters and everything needed to prepare your own meals if you wish. A range of instant coffee, tea and sugar is provided.
