Born in Northcote, WIlliam Murray recently returned to Australia after 17 years based in Berlin and Amsterdam. He is one of a new generation of Australian musicians playing in a wide array of musical forms throughout the world.William oozes enthusiam for the music he plays and his instrument - a glorious composite viola made by Antonio and Hieronymous Amati of Cremona in 1620.
