The Peninsula Plein Air Painting Group is an independent community group formed on the Mornington Peninsula over two decades ago.Plein air painting involves creating art in the open air, directly in front of the subject. It’s an approach similar to that used by French impressionists, allowing the artist to capture the changing light, mood, and colours of nature in real-time.
They are having an exhibition at the Heronswood gardens cafe at Latrobe parade Dromana. This event is a collaboration between Heronswood gardens and the peninsula Plein Air Painting Group. Artworks have been created in and inspired by the gardens at Heronswood.
This is a free event including refreshments.
