About
School holiday adventures for the kids, long weekend wanders, come for a visit to the Yarra Valley Railway with friends and family! Heritage Train Rides on Walker Rail Motor 22RM with our fantastic volunteers, on return trips from Healesville Station. We'll bring you right back to Healesville station after your train ride to continue your adventures.Please plan to arrive 20 minutes before departure time to allow time for parking and to check in with our friendly booking office team. Please note there are no toilets on the train so we suggest allowing time before your train ride. Our train goes up to a point near the tunnel at Tarrawarra, where the driver then changes ends and returns to Healesville. Passengers stay on the train.
*Due to the weather forecast, trains on Saturday 24th January 2026 will only run in the morning. The 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:15pm and 3pm trains will not run. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.*

Adult $22
Concession $20
Child 3-16 yrs $16
Infant/Toddler under 3 yrs FREE (do not need a Trybooking ticket)
Family 2 adults & 2 children $66
*Children under 3 travel for free, must sit on a parent/guardian's lap.
*Online booking fees and charges apply
*Animals are not permitted on the train with the exception of Guide Dogs (Seeing Eye Dogs) and Assistance Dogs.

- Please note that due to track maintenance in the brick tunnel at Tarrawarra, train rides will go up to a point near the tunnel but not through the tunnel. We apologise for any inconvenience.
