Back to Dance ’26 – Summer Workshop

Kickstart the new year with Back to Dance ’26 — our exciting 2-day summer workshop designed to energise dancers, build confidence, and prepare them for an amazing year ahead!

Across two jam-packed days, dancers will train in a wide range of styles with our inspiring faculty, including returning special guest, Connor Miller.
This workshop is all about shaking off the holidays, trying new things, learning from new teachers, and having FUN while building strong technique.

Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th January 2026

📚 Streams & Times

⭐ Junior Stream

For dancers 7-9 years old
8:30am – 1:15pm
Includes: Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Technique, Stretch & Conditioning

⭐ Sub-Intermediate Stream

For dancers 10-12 years old
8:30am – 2:00pm
Includes: Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Technique, Stretch & Conditioning

⭐ Intermediate / Senior Stream

For dancers 13+ years old
9:15am – 2:45pm
Includes: Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Stretch & Conditioning

Cost

• Junior: $99
  (9+ hours across 2 days)

• Sub-Intermediate / Intermediate / Senior: $125
  (11+ hours across 2 days)

Open to both CDA and non-CDA dancers.

👚 What to Bring

• Normal dance attire

• Jazz and/or ballet shoes (if you have them)

• Towel, lunch/snacks, and a water bottle

• All studios are fully air-conditioned

About Our Special Guest: Connor Miller

Connor began his training at the age of 6, studying everything from Ballet to Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. At 18, while still completing his Diploma in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance at D.L.D.C, Connor booked his first professional job as a backup dancer on Australia’s Got Talent.

From there, Connor travelled the world performing with Royal Caribbean and taking on numerous contracts across a variety of genres — from circus productions to major musical theatre works including Saturday Night Fever, Mamma Mia, and We Will Rock You!

Now based back home, Connor has become a well-respected contributor to the Australian dance scene, working with companies such as Opera Australia. He is passionate about sharing the knowledge, inspiration, and experience he’s gained over his 13-year professional career with the next generation.
