This session focuses on working differently with neurodivergent adolescents, recognising the unique neurological, emotional, and identity-based challenges of the teenage years.Topics include adolescent brain development, autonomy, engagement, burnout, therapy fatigue, and the shifting therapeutic relationship. Occupational therapists will gain practical tools for building collaboration, respecting autonomy, and supporting meaningful participation during adolescence.
