About
The Camden Social Wellbeing Report & Snapshot is was developed to measure, monitor, and transparently report community wellbeing. The report and snapshot directly relates to the to the national and state treasury departments wellbeing frameworks—Australia’s Measuring What Matters Framework and NSW’s Performance and Wellbeing Framework—localising these to reflect Camden’s unique context. The report introduces five key wellbeing themes: Health, Safety & Security, Community Cohesion, Resilience, and Learning, Skills & Education. Approximately 50 population Indicators related to these themes are benchmarked at local, state, and national levels, and tracked over time, where data is available.
The Snapshot distils this data into a high-level overview of Camden’s most pressing social challenges. It is designed for internal staff, elected officials, and intergovernmental stakeholders to support evidence-based decision-making and coordinated action where it is needed most.
These information sessions are designed to support organisations to utilise this data, increasing investment into the Camden LGA whilst improving overall strategic alignment
