This course is simply perfect for those wishing to be practitioners in Raindrop Technique,
and for those who just LOVE learning about essential oils and helping their loved ones. 

Imagine the sensation of sinking into a deep and blissful state of rest, as someone does the ancient Tibetan version of reflexology on your feet. As you slowly (even reluctantly) come back to your body and roll over, you experience the gentle splashes as therapeutic grade essential oils are applied up your spine and to your tired muscles. These oils are then 'feathered in' using a spine-tingling technique inspired by the Native Americans, combined with massage. You can't get more pampered than this! 

HOW THE TECHNIQUE WORKS:
Raindrop Technique comprises 4 steps, each unlocking a new, amazing experience. In 2007, I was one of 6 Raindrop Technique instructors invited to Ecuador to study with its founder Gary Young in a 4 day Raindrop Technique Masterclass. Gary showed us in detail how he wanted each move taught….and that’s what we teach to you! 

Step 1 - The Valor Balance: 
This step balances the body’s electrical energy using the oil blend “Valor”. Valor is a blend of oils that the Roman soldiers wore into battle. It gave them strength, courage and confidence, so they felt unbeatable. Valor instructs the body to relax, allowing our muscles to let go and our spine to sit in its perfectly balanced position.

Step 2 - VitaFlex Technique: 
You are lying face up on a massage table, and you’re in a deep state of relaxation from the Valor Balance. Then this beautiful, rhythmic, VitaFlex technique (ancient Tibetan reflexology) is performed along the inner edge of your feet, from heel to toe. It’s not too heavy, not too light… but just right. 7 essential oils are applied to your feet during this process.

Designed to balance and energise the physical spine via its reflex points in the feet, VitaFlex Technique sends you into a luscious state of relaxation. Most people are sound asleep by the end of this step.

Step 3 – Oils “Raindropped” on the Spine, Feathered in, then Massaged:
9 essential oils and blends are dripped along the spine and “feathered in” using a flowing movement that nurtures the energy and the oils up the spine and back. This movement is incredible!!!! Each feathering stroke draws the oil up the spine to the organs of the body, invigorating the whole body.

The oils and feathering is interspersed with a variety of massage steps, which loosen the muscles along the back, release tension, promote relaxation and encourage healthy detox, thus bringing all the benefits of a great massage to the physical body. 

Step 4 -The Finger Pull: 
The Finger Pull is a Lymphatic Pump technique, performed at the occiput (where the neck joins the skull). The giver’s hands are cupped on either side of the head, and the fingers are bent then relaxed then bent again (like pulling a trigger with all 4 fingers). This creates a rhythmic and extremely relaxing rocking of the entire body, including the toes!

Being a lymphatic pump, it’s one of the best ways for moving stagnant lymph fluid around the body, giving the body a complete “wake up”, leaving it tingling and revitalized and cleansed – the perfect way to end this amazing technique.

COURSE DATES & TIMES (VIC TIME):
This course is offered as 2 modules, to give you time to integrate your learning and practice this modality on others. You must attend the entire training to be eligible for your Certificate of Competence. If the below dates are not suitable and you’d like to be on our interested list for future courses, please email our course coordinator.

LEVEL 1: 

Pre-course Home Study: Approx. 12-15 hours of online learning to be completed in your own time before attending the in-person days. Learn Raindrop Technique’s history, core principles, and learn to tailor the session to meet your client’s needs. This includes learning how to modify the technique according to the health history of your client, using a detailed Client History Form.

Sat 11th Jul 2026: Day 1 (in person) - 8am to 6:30pm

Sun 12th Jul 2026: Day 2 (in person) - 8am to 6pm

Once you’ve completed Level 1, you have approximately 3 months to perform 13 practice sessions on at least 8 different people (undertaken in your own time). You will send these to your instructor before your Level 2 training.
 

LEVEL 2:

Sat 3rd Oct 2026: Day 1 (Student Clinic) - 8am to 6pm

Sun 4th Oct 2026: Day 2 (Student Clinic and Written & Practical Assessment) - 8am to 6pm

Upon passing your Level 2 assessments and submitting all your logged sessions, you will be issued with a Certificate of Competence. Use this to register as a Raindrop Technique Practitioner with the International Institute of Complementary Therapists(IICT), and qualify for discounted public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

LEVEL 1 & 2 VENUE: 
Box Hill (Melbourne) - full address released upon booking

ACCOMMODATION:
You will be required to source your own accommodation for the training, as this is not a residential course.

FOOD AND DRINK:
Please BYO food and snacks, as this is not a catered course, and there won’t be sufficient time in the breaks for you to head out to buy lunch. BYO bottled water and stay well hydrated, because bodywork can help detox the body.

WHAT TO BRING:
You will need to bring a Raindrop Technique kit to your MasterClass - this can be ordered directly from Young Living. Once you’ve booked in, you will be sent an email advising what to wear and what else to bring to your training (towels, pillows, massage table if you have one, etc).

You will be asked for your Young Living member number when you book in for your course. 

It is a condition of our training that you: 

1. Be a Young Living member (you will be given a member number when you order your Raindrop Technique Kit), and

2. Sign an indemnity form confirming you will only perform Raindrop Technique using Young Living Essential Oils. This is because of the quality and effectiveness of this brand of essential oils - they are the correct chemotypes for Raindrop Technique, and are guaranteed pure, unadulterated, therapeutic-grade essential oils.

If you’ve not ordered from Young Living before, or if it’s been 12 months or more since you’ve ordered, please contact the person who told you about Young Living and/or Raindrop Technique for assistance with ordering. If you can’t reach them, please contact your course coordinator for assistance.

COSTS:

OPTION 1: Early Bird Price: $2,495 (including Level 1 + Level 2 Raindrop Technique MasterClasses, and all online modules)

• Pay a $500 deposit now to secure your place
• Make an interim $500 payment by 15th May
• Balance of $1,495 due 12th Jun

OPTION 2: Split Payment Option: $2,695

• Pay a $500 deposit now to secure your place
• Make an interim $500 payment by 15th May
• Make another interim payment of $500 by 12th Jun
• Make another interim payment of $500 by 31st Jul
• Pay the balance of $695 by 14th Aug
• If the balance is not paid by 14th Aug, an extra $200 is owing, bringing the full course fee to $2,895. 

OPTION 3: Full price of $2,895 applies if the balance is not paid in full by 14th Aug
