Join Izzy and Angus as they unpack how, for over a decade, they are successfully embedded PLAYWORK in to all facets of an OSHC setting, and done do so in a recognised "exceeding" manner...This session will bust many a regularly heard faux pas such as:
* Playwork is only done in loose parts spaces!
* We cannot "do" playwork in our organisation!
* Playwork is contained to only a few of the 7 quality standards!
And last but certainly not least...
* Playwork does not belong in Australian OSHC settings (which we all know is a good joke now since its recent addition to the Australian OSHC Framework!!!)...
We will unpack everything from how we map it to the Framework, inspire and mentor teams in Playwork practice, advocate to stakeholders, manage perception, and deliver a cracking good program on the frontline!
