"Kandahar" was built around 1900, and was designed by Edward Davies (1852-1927),
one of Adelaide's foremost architects, and named for the first Earl Roberts of Kandahar
(Field Marshall Sir Frederick Sleigh Roberts VC a military hero)
It was restored by the City of West Torrens and has a very interesting history
