About
Starting school is an exciting time of change for families. There are lots of new things for everyone to learn and get used to. There are many things that you can do to help your child and yourselves with this important transition and to set up a successful start to school. This workshop will be facilitated by School Psychologist Lara and School Speech Pathologist Eve, and support parents with the following:· Talking with your child about school
· Preparation
· Teaching necessary skills such as language and communication, dressing and eating independently
. Toileting
. Separating easily
· Establishing routines
· Self-care for parents and caregivers
