Intermediate A2.5 - Term 1, 2026 |
Monday evenings with Frédérique 6:45-8:45pm.
This course requires about three years of previous French study. It is open to students who completed our Intermediate A2.4 course in term 4, 2025. New students should email us to enquire about availability before enrolling.
During term 1, there will be time for some revision before looking at the theme of travelling overseas and learning how to use the superlative form (e.g. to say that something is the biggest or the best). You will then start the leçons in Unité 4 of the Inspire 2 textbook. Topics include: seeking hired help around the house; giving advice; modern workspaces. Grammar points include: the conditional tense (to express politeness e.g Je voudrais).
The course covers the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
