COMFORT MUSIC, AT FOREIGNER BREWING CO – 22 JANUARY 2026“It’s 1987, and Polash is about to have his 12-year-old mind blown seeing The Blues Brothers at the Valhalla cinema. From New Delhi to Camberwell, this kid has seen a lot, but he’s never seen anything like this. People are wearing sunglasses at night! And everyone knows all the songs!
His parents may have had their adventures on the hippy trail, but it’s the 80s now baby. Polash is about to take you on a musical journey that’s for you, me, everybody!”
On Thursday 22nd of January Foreigner Brewing Company will be transformed into an intimate theatre space for one night only as Polash Larsen performs his solo stories and songs show COMFORT MUSIC. In just under an hour, he’ll weave together childhood experiences, songs and stories about his parents’ meeting, marriage and divorce alongside his life as a musician, the Muppets and the Blues Brothers.
COMFORT MUSIC was born in Brunswick, had a sold-out Explorations season at La Mama and has toured across Canada and New Zealand. It's now back in Brunswick for one special performance in the industrial surrounds of Henkel St. After the show there’ll be an informal kick on at the bar as well as the chance for people to share their own stories.
