The 2026 ACT Bar Association CPD half day conference is being held at the Canberra Bowls Club, Saturday 28 March 2026.The program and presenters are currently being finalised but will include some great topics including:
- Barristers' professional obligations in the use of Artificial Intelligence - Chief Justice Lucy McCallum
- How Artificial Intelligence can assist barristers - Samuel Junghenn and Bec Robertson, CEO and COO of AI Legal Assistant
- Excellence in Appellate Advocacy - Tim Game SC
- Maximising the Federal Court's unique jurisdiction in the ACT - Justice James Stellios
- The road to taking silk - Acting Justice Andrew Muller SC, Anthony Williamson SC and Gavin Howard SC
Being (and avoiding being) the subject of a disciplinary complaint - ACT Bar Disciplinary Committee

Time: 8.30am to 1.00pm - followed by lunch and bowls
Cost: $200 (includes lunch and barefoot bowls)
