A concert celebration of one of the baroque era's greatest champions, Georg Friedrich Handel.Featuring the Queensland Baroque Orchestra and Soloists led by artistic director, John Foster, performing on period instruments. Come and enjoy and enchanting afternoon of selections from Handel's finest works, in the sublime acoustics of the City Baptist Tabernacle Church.
Works will include:
G.F. Handel 'Concerto Grossi' No.1 Op.6 in G major.
G.F. Handel 'Variations on 'the Harmonious Blacksmith' for Harpsichord.
G.F. Handel 'Trio Sonata in B minor HWV 386b for Traverso, Violin & Cello
