Dream Weaver Summer Series - The Art of Blossoming Term 1
Dream Weaver - The Art of Blossoming Series from the inside out is a 8 part series (Grade 4& 5) for the Summer that entwines the wonders of nature with somatically led creative activities, designed to support children develop a strong sense of self, build capacity and resilience in a fun and nurturing environment.
Working with nature inspired movement mindfulness and creative expression (art and play), this 8 week series has been designed to invite children to explore how a healthy and happy mind body and heart are essential ingredients towards emboding and achieving our dreams
These classes have been especially designed to support children to learn & grow through mother natures ways, providing them with life long resources & tools to support them to show up in the world in a whole and healthy way!
Summer is a time when mother nature comes into full bloom to share the fruits born from her seasonal journey through the autumn, winter and spring. It is an expansive time of joy in connection, heart opening beauty and consolidation just how far we have come in preparation for the coming cycle of change and transformation.
Over eight weeks children will engage in:
- Somatically led activities to support mind body connection to help build awareness and enhance capacity.
- MIndfullness activities to support children to enhance creative and find a sense of calm.
- Art Activities to support children anchor the learnings through creative expression.
- Creative Sharing Circles to build confidence and sense of connection with others in the group.
Learning and Development
These classes have been especially designed to support children 10-12 years of age to learn and grow through Mother Natures ways, providing them with life long resources and tools to support them to;
- Develop healthy relationships (in their own time and tempo) with themselves, each other and the earth
- Foster a sense of well - being and self care.
- Regulate their emotions and find a deeper sense of calm, as they move through out the day
- Connect to their authentic self through the wisdom of their own body
- Build capacity and develop a deeper understanding of themselves through their own sensory system.
- Enhance imagination and creative expression.
- Develop their balance, cooridnation and own sense of rhythm.
- Nurture their own unique gifts and celebrate others along the way
- Have fun and connect with new friends!

Date: Every Tuesday from 3 February until the 24 March 2026
Time: 3.45pm - 5.30 pm (Note Extended Time)
(Children to come to front of school office directly after school)
Location: Elwood Primary Wellness Space
