An Event presented by JETTY ROAD.

We are delighted to welcome Golden Guitar winning group JETTY ROAD back to Carrum Downs House Concerts. It has been two years since they appeared here to a sell out audience when they presented their new album, 'Because We Can' and since then they have released new singles and been busy touring. JETTY ROAD have a big following in Australia with their tapestry of pop and country music and you can hear the influnces of bands like Fleetwood Mac, Dixi Chicks, and The Corrs, but there is a distinctive Australian flavour to their music. They have been very successful touring overseas and have played alongside the cream of country music such as Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Tim Mc Graw, Kenny Chesney, Vince Gill, Gretchen Wilson, Dwight Yoakam Alan Jacson, Brooks and Dunn and Glen Campbell. The Melbourne based trio is unique in itself with twins Paula and Lee Bowman with Julian Sammut and they often add other musicians to form a full band.

At this event we are also pleased to welcome back DELLA HARRIS to support Jetty Road.. Della is a very successful singer/songwriter whose latest album 'Lets do this'  earned her 9 top 10 singles, including two number 1 singles. She has won 2 Peoples Choice Awards for Female Vocal of the Year. MICHELLE CHANDLER  is a Melbourne based singer songwriter widely recognised for her award winning songwriting ability and her velvety voice. Della and Michelle will share the first half of the event, followed by JETTY ROAD after afternoon tea

ABOUT THE EVENT:  We are delighted to provide these artists with a relaxed personal atmosphere which we know all our artists and our guests love. Our venue is nevertheless, set up with professional sound and lighting and is an all seated venue We provide a BBQ lunch - salads and other, prior to the start and tea, coffee and water, and afternoon tea coffee tea and cake and biscuits. Gluten free is available .All food is served outside in our newely extended covered outdoor area and we have other covered areas in case of rain.

TIMES:  Arrive 1pm for lunch . Music  2pm to 3pm   Afternoon tea - 3 to 3.30pm  Music - 3.30 to approximately 4.30pm   Guests are welcome and encouraged to mingle with the artists prior to, during the break and after the event. The artists will have cd's and other merchandise available to purchase.

THE VENUE: Carrum Downs House Concerts is situated in a private home, a large ground floor unit. There is plenty of on street parking. There is heating, airconditioning and two airpurifiers to provide a comfortable and safe enviornment.  The address will be provided at time of booking.
