This practical session supports schools in developing effective Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and Student Safety Plans (SSPs), focusing on key components, purpose, and alignment with student profiles to promote safety and inclusion. Through examples and discussion, participants will gain insights to create proactive, collaborative, and individualised plans - whether they are new to or refining the process.Learning Outcomes:
Understand the purpose and key components of BSPs and Student Safety Plans SSPs.
Identify when and why each type of plan is needed, including how they support student wellbeing and inclusion.
Use a collaborative and student-centred approach to develop BSPs and SSPs that reflect individual strengths, requirements, and triggers.
Ensure plans are practical and implementable, with clear roles, responsibilities, and communication processes.
Contribute and lead the planning process within their schools
