About the presenter
Christian Mauri, PhD, is a sociologist and author who studies how precarity and cognitive workload shape individual and community behaviour. He delivers de-escalation training to businesses and government agencies across Western Australia. In 2024, he was named Citizen of the Year for community work including organising political events that bring together people who might not otherwise meet.
