Developed alongside Dreaming in Farsi, this panel opens a space for conversation between exhibiting artist Yasamin Khadembashi and invited artists Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Natalie de Rozario, and Zali Morgan. Guided by Perth Art Seeker (Minali Gamage), the discussion unfolds as a shared exchange shaped by making, memory, and lived experience.Grounded in the artists’ individual practices and experiences as BIPOC artists, the conversation will explore materiality, cultural preservation, erasure, and censorship, and how these themes emerge across different mediums and contexts. Audience engagement is encouraged, creating an opportunity for reflection, dialogue, and collective thinking.
