About
Our child safety obligations require that schools must ensure that staff and volunteers are equipped with the knowledge, skills and awareness to keep children and young people safe through ongoing education and training. This includes providing guidance on how to build culturally safe environments for children and students (Child Safe Standard One).Catholic Education Ballarat (CEB) is very excited to present the first in a series of four Video Conferences (VC’s) which will explore how whole school communities can best to create culturally safe school environments for all children. Tune in to listen to Helen Christensen (CEB), Jeanette Morris (CEB) & Elia Ware (school based) share their experiences and personal insights in creating culturally safe environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Session will be recorded, but we urge you to come along to be part of the experience.
