This course is designed for all nursing staff who work in Acute Inpatient Services- Mental health (AIS/Casual/Normanby House). If you are new to MH, please do not enroll into this course.This annual ADAPT training needs to be completed every year to renew your competency.
This course addresses de-escalation and aggression prevention techniques and is designed for those nursing staff who will be engaging in physical restraint as outlined by the MHWA 2022.
All face-to-face sessions are subject to capacity restrictions. Please note that the location of training is changeable across sites, please refer to the Outlook invite for location.
